Did you ever felt like your computer somehow gathered a conscience of it's own and started crusading vengeance out of misuse and negligence... ?
well if mine did, it recently uncovered it's pièce de résistance for righteous solitude in a defective state... (it crashed on me... ><) In most cases when this happens, auto-recovery will takeover and will attempt to... well recover otherwise lost files. Mine didn't... But it gave me the involuntary opportunity to start a new, with empty cashes, registers AND as a system hard-drive a Solid State Drive, SSD. I decided that this disk will accommodate the OS and 'heavy' programs with long load times and a higher risk to cause instabilities, like PS (and such) and SolidWorks. I very much like this SSD, if there's anyone considering one I advice them to buy one ^^, most Personal Computers will start up quicker, up to 4x quicker... ah well, you get the picture, me very glad with new components (which in addition are far more stable then there mechanical brethren)
Coincidentally this was the cause why I wasn't very 'active' lately, artistically speaking... I had several ideas running: animation experiments, drawings and such. Currently the progress I had gathered are now unreadable on a hard-drive cause of the fatal crash...
as for the thoughtcast... I had hoped to update these every single day, it's not that I've run out of quirky thoughts to share, it's just that I feel very exposed sharing these, and just can't tell if they're 'landing' as they ought to... ><
I suppose I could share this one, cause... well, for the HELL of it...
Thoughtcast #3 : "Devices and pieces of equipment I adhere to emotionally or depend on are given names, so I might take better care for it, almost identifying it with personality trades and behaviors, just to keep the illusion alive that it is a conscience entity entitled to care and a strengthening confirmation of existence..." (in conjunction with the computer crashing thing...)

re-continuing DA account...
my latest entry was months ago, and proudly, maybe quite honestly, displayed my complete lack of competence towards computer-handling-guidelines...
The weird thing is I'm not completely devoid of computer knowledge... Know quite allot about them, though I can't seem to keep them from... well melting.
In give-or-take two years I went through three GPU's (video processors...), which more or less could be credited to my fascination for gaming whilst barely letting the computer breath... in hindsight it almost seems as if I personally smothered the life out of them...

It can also trigger the urge to understand it on the basis of ones current knowledge, logic, rational choices and insight. Also called the analytic perspective.
The second tendency can also extend into the fantastical, a perspective with conclusions and deductions not necessarily based on logic...
